Privacy film installation in France: how a project unfolds
A successful privacy film project is decided before installation, at the survey stage. Here is the full sequence, from first conversation to handover.
1. Conversation and qualification
Intended use, spaces concerned, number of panes, approximate dimensions, timing constraints. This first stage also serves to say honestly whether film is the right answer — sometimes it is not.
2. Glazing survey
Glass type and condition, light environment and backlight, access to the inner face, feasible transformer position, cable routing. This stage determines actual feasibility and the appropriate grade.
3. Detailed proposal
Choice of grade, control method and any finishes, set out in a precise quote. No commitment is made on technical characteristics before the documentation of the chosen manufacturer has been validated.
4. Made-to-measure manufacturing
Precise measurements, then cutting the film to the exact dimensions of each pane. Unusual shapes and junctions are studied at this stage.
5. Installation, testing and handover
Surface preparation, application, electrical connection, control configuration, testing in real conditions with you, then handover of maintenance instructions. Work is carried out primarily in the Paris region, with projects assessed across France.
